Two male runners crossing a New York City street

    Love and Legacy

Runners Aum Gandhi and Josh Mock put themselves in each other’s shoes as they carve a path from New Jersey’s leafy trails to New York City’s concrete streets.

    Challenging Perceptions

In the fourth episode of Breaking Trails, runners Aum Gandhi and Josh Mock reflect on their inspiring journeys as first-generation immigrants while embarking on a run from New Jersey’s Palisades Interstate Park to the northern tip of Manhattan, New York City.

    Aum Gandhi

For Aum, getting into running in his mid-twenties was a revelation. Now a seasoned ultramarathon runner, he has dedicated himself to inspiring others to explore and discover the mental and physical benefits of running, one step at a time.

    Josh Mock

Josh co-founded We Run Uptown (WRU) 10 years ago, the first run crew in Uptown Manhattan. Since then, WRU has grown into a vital community where everyone is empowered to run their way, changing the face of the New York run scene.
