GORE-TEX APPAREL AND FOOTWEAR STORIES II
Not only innovative products, but compelling visual storytelling and merchandising also sit at the core of these GORE-TEX collaborations. Check out some select storytelling highlights below, from our GORE-TEX brand partners around the world.
GORE-TEX BRAND FOR PALACE SKATEBOARDS
Palace Skateboards celebrated its collaboration with GORE-TEX brand via a in-store display, located in Palace’s New York City retail location. Titled “Guaranteed To Keep You Dry (AF),” the installation showed a Palace Skateboards FW17 shell jacket in a high-vis orange colorway, featuring branded GORE-TEX taped-seams on the body. Contained in a display, the jacket was continuously spritzed with water to simulate GORE-TEX brand’s waterproofing capabilities.
GORE-TEX BRAND FOR OFF-WHITE™
Virgil Abloh chose to use GORE-TEX product technologies for his 2018 Off-White™ collection, consisting of four items; an anorak, a jacket, a hoodie and pants. The all-black garments are punctuated by GORE-TEX branding which is joined by “PRODUCT TESTING” and “OUTDOOR USE ONLY” text hits in white, in addition to Off-White™ insignias.
GORE-TEX BRAND for Stüssy Fall 2020
Stüssy once again turned to GORE-TEX product technologies, this time creating a three-piece apparel collection for Fall 2020. Perhaps the highlight of the collection, a Wading shell jacket comes with a plethora of pouches and zippered compartments adorning the front. In addition, the Cargo shell pants and Storm shell hat round out the head-to-toe look, while all items are decked out in Realtree MAX-5® camouflage print.
